Terms and conditions of sale


The purchase of organized trips, tours or à la carte (hereinafter referred to as the "services") offered by Voyages Sportifs MB constitutes a contractual agreement between Voyages Sportifs MB and the client, and implies that the client accepts the terms and conditions of sale of Voyages Sportifs MB described below.



These terms and conditions apply to all packages, tours, cyclo-touring excursions and exchanges.



The services related to the booked services as described on the website or on the advertising documents such as air or bus transportation to and from a city, transfers, lodging or cabin depending on the category chosen, meals and beverages specifically mentioned, taxes and hotel service charges unless otherwise specified, visits and activities specifically mentioned, service of the escort, if applicable, the contribution to the Compensation Fund for Customers of Travel Agents (0.325%, for example $3,25 per $1000), the goods and services tax (GST), and the provincial sales tax (PST) when applicable, as well as all discounts. The total cost of the services booked includes taxes and service charges for double occupancy on the date of departure at which the price is the lowest at the time of publication.



All personal expenses, the cost of meals and beverages not specifically indicated as part of the package, including tips, cost of visits and activities not specifically indicated as part of the package, optional excursions and tips to drivers, local guides and tour guides.



Unless otherwise indicated, prices are in Canadian dollars. In accordance with the law, the contract price may be changed in the event of an imposition or increase of a tax by a governmental authority, a fuel surcharge or an increase in the exchange rate. In such a case, if the modification is caused by a fuel surcharge or an increase in the exchange rate, and results in a price increase of less than 7%, excluding GST and QST, the client agrees to pay the difference. However, if the change results in a price increase equal to or greater than 7% of the price, excluding GST and QST, then the client may choose between:

  • the cancellation of this contrat and a full refund of the price, or

  • the approval of any alternative services that may be offered. There can be no price changes within 30 days of departure.



Cancellation fees apply if the client cancels the reservation. Cancellation will only be considered when the request is made in writing to the travel agency. The deposit or the total amount of the trip, depending on what has been paid at the time of cancellation, is not refundable. If the client is refused entry into a country, Voyages Sportifs MB is not responsible for his return and the trip will be considered cancelled without refund.



No changes can be made within 90 days of departure. It is the client's responsibility to provide their exact name, as indicated on their Canadian passport, at the time of booking. If the client has a foreign passport, the client must specify it to the travel agent before the reservation. If the name given to Voyages Sportifs MB is incorrect (i.e., the name given by the client is not the same as the name indicated in the client’s passport), the transaction will be considered a cancellation and fees will apply. Please refer to the CANCELLATION FEES section.



Final payment must be made within 45 to 120 days prior to departure, depending on the trip selected. If the final payment is not received on time, the package will be automatically cancelled and the deposit will not be refunded.



All packages are described on the Voyages Sportifs MB website. Every effort has been made to ensure that the descriptions are accurate at the time of publication. Although updated regularly, changes in services beyond the control of Voyages Sportifs MB may occur without notice. Every effort will be made to minimize the effects of such changes and to inform the client in a timely manner. The itinerary and the order of the planned visits, as well as the prices indicated, may be modified according to circumstances, unforeseen situations and conditions prevailing on the site, weather conditions, unusual attendance on certain sites, etc. Airlines, hotels, transportation and other services may be subject to change due to unforeseen circumstances, security, local authorities or conditions.



The hotel owners are solely responsible for the allocation of rooms. Voyages Sportifs MB cannot offer any guarantee regarding special requests, even those submitted at the time of booking.



If certain booked services are no longer available prior to departure or once at the destination, Voyages Sportifs MB reserves the right to replace them with services of equivalent or greater value, or to cancel them.



Reservations are strictly personal and are reserved for individuals. The resale of services is strictly forbidden without the authorization of Voyages Sportifs MB. All amounts indicated are per person.



Any client under the age of twenty-one (21) must be accompanied by a parent, guardian or adult of at least twenty-one (21) years of age with whom to share the same room.



The credit card holder must be a client of the services booked. By allowing the use of the client’s credit card number, the client agrees to abide by the terms and conditions of the reservation even if the client has not signed the appropriate document. By providing credit card information, the client acknowledges their responsibility to pay for all members in their group. Voyages Sportifs MB reserves the right to verify the information provided on the credit card holder.



The client acknowledges and accepts the following: Voyages Sportifs MB is not a transportation company. The transportation offered is carried out in accordance with the various regulations of the organizations managing air and ground transportation.



The client acknowledges and accepts the following:

Schedule Verification: it is the client's responsibility to confirm their transportation schedule 24 hours prior to the scheduled departure time directly with the carrier or the Voyages Sportifs MB agency to ensure that there are no changes. Air and ground transportation schedules and stops on the routes are for information purposes only and are subject to change without notice.

Check-in for boarding: Voyages Sportifs MB recommends that you arrive at the airport at least 3 hours prior to departure time with the necessary documents, including passport, airline tickets and hotel reservations. Voyages Sportifs MB reserves the right to refuse or expel from the group any individual who is in such a state as to interfere with the proper conduct of the activities or who behaves in an unacceptable manner that makes it difficult to continue the trip (personal hygiene issues, inebriation, etc.). In such a situation, the client will not obtain any refund of the package or compensation of any value whatsoever. In addition, all expenses incurred as a result of denied boarding or expulsion from the group will be at the client's expense.



Voyages Sportifs MB strongly suggests to its clients to subscribe to a complete travel insurance policy adapted to the different needs of each client. The client may consult his advisor to this effect. If the client does not take out insurance, he acknowledges that his coverage is limited to the benefits he receives from the RAMQ or his personal insurance.



Documents are personal and non-transferable. The elements of the booked services that are not used are not refundable nor usable or endorsable at a later date. Each client's passport must be in order at the time of departure.



The client is required to carry all travel documents (passport, visas, etc.) and to have received all vaccinations required by the authorities of the countries where the client will be staying, and to assume the costs thereof. The client may be denied boarding or entry to the country of destination. In such a case, Voyages Sportifs MB will not be held responsible. At no time shall Voyages Sportifs MB, or any of its representatives, be held responsible if a client does not have the necessary documents to travel on a trip booked through the company.



Certain events are part of the normal inconveniences of a trip. The client recognizes this, assumes the consequences alone and agrees that Voyages Sportifs MB cannot be held responsible for the following elements in particular:

  • Standard of living: outside of Canada, the standard of living, local customs, religions, political systems, as well as the services offered may differ from what the client is used to in Canada. In addition, some services may be interrupted or not available during the trip. Since it has no control over these circumstances, Voyages Sportifs MB is not responsible for any damage, inconvenience or loss of use. It is the client's responsibility to obtain information on the destination and/or country to be visited. The Foreign Affairs and International Trade Canada website ( is a useful information tool.

  • Roads, construction, traffic: the client is aware that delays caused by these imponderables are not the responsibility of Voyages Sportifs MB and that tours, activities or free time may be affected without the possibility of rescheduling.

  • Holidays, school holidays, elections and conventions: certain inconveniences and/or interruptions and/or delays may occur on special occasions and the client agrees that this is not the responsibility of Voyages Sportifs MB and that tours, activities or free time may be affected without the possibility of rescheduling.

It is the client's responsibility to be healthy and independent enough to undertake this type of trip.



Voyages Sportifs MB assumes no liability for failure to perform its obligations, including any loss or damage resulting from delay, cancellation, loss of property, illness, injury, accident or death, adverse weather conditions, deterioration in the quality of services, inconvenience, loss of enjoyment, disappointment or frustration, or any physical or mental disorder resulting from any of the following events acts of God, force majeure or third party acts: war, revolution, riot, embargo, terrorism or any other unlawful act committed against public order, act of God, accident or failure of the aircraft or coach used or any related equipment, strike, lockout or other problem related to a third party or Voyages Sportifs MB MB employees, or any other factor beyond the control of Voyages Sportifs MB.



Although Voyages Sportifs MB carefully selects its suppliers (transportation, hoteliers, representatives, local guides and others), the company has no control over them and can in no case be held responsible for their acts, omissions, faults and/or negligence. The services are also subject to the terms and conditions of the suppliers.



Once at the destination, the client must immediately notify his Voyages Sportifs MB representative, if applicable, of any problem. If the representative is not available, the client must contact the representative of the service provider in question to have the problem resolved immediately, if possible. If the problem cannot be resolved on the site, the client has thirty (30) days following their return to send a written claim to the attention of Voyages Sportifs MB.
